Moyen Age and Heri et Hodie present a joint concert of Jewish vocal and instrumental music from the Medieval period, as well as a healthy dose of Sephardic. Admission is free!

Synopsis: Best friends, Naomi and Ruth, are preparing to audition for their local Purim shpiel. Naomi, gunning for the part of Esther, hopes to kick start her theatrical career. Ruth questions her feelings for Naomi and how long she’s willing to put Naomi’s desires before her own.

A new opera composed by Stephen Variames will be performed in concert in November. This benefit recital will include a preview of the opera as well as other compositions by the composer.

The final stop of a brief tour with Nathan Felix doing immersive opera in museums across the country. This one to take place at the Speed Museum of Art in Louisville, KY.

In the third program of its series The Belletrists, Cincinnati Song Initiative explores an array of settings from the Romantic literary giant Josef von Eichendorff. Themes of wandering, the passing of time, and nostalgia permeate this program that explores German culture, poetry, and music.
